This is a documentary mini-series focused on a cold case involving the 1969 murder of Sister Catherine (Cathy) Cesnik, a nun in Baltimore, MD. I like a good cold case story - but watching the preview, I knew this might be difficult to watch for a variety of reasons. I would rather not think such things happen in the United States. That said, the documentary is really good and based on the research and investigation by two of her former students who refused to give up on finding out who killed her. Their steadfast investigation of one teacher who had such an impact on their lives so many years ago is inspiring. While investigating what happened to Sister Cathy, they were able to uncovered abuse that occurred to many students in a private school where the nun taught. Their investigation expands to learn more about the abused victims, how they suffered silently for so many years ,and how these abuses may be linked to Sister Cathy's murder. Without giving too much away, it's about murder, abuse, political cover up and healing. When watching this series, it takes you through a variety of emotions but at the end (and while the topic is horrific) - you'll end up wanting to talk about it.
